We are open from 10am until 1am daily, with earlier and later hours for sporting events.

Once a hotel serving Blandford railway station, The Railway Hotel has been the meeting place for the people of, and visitors to, Blandford since 1864; a small Georgian town in North Dorset. It has a long tradition of welcoming everyone and serving the community in a host of different ways. We are piecing together "The Railway's" colourful and varied past so if you have any stories, anecdotes, pictures etc we would be very happy to receive them.

The Railway is a well established, community led Free House, it is a sports pub showing SKY SPORTS all day everyday on its multiple screens around the bar area so if there is any televised sporting event on it will be on! We are a very active pub with many teams including darts, skittles, shove ha'penny and cribbage. As well as sports we love our music too and we regularly bring you a wide range of bands and open mic sessions. Please check out the Entertainment page for listings ofwhat's on.

We are always open (well almost) and have a wide range of drinks on draught including 5 lagers, 4 real ales, 2 ciders, 2 smooths and Guinness, and thats not to mention the wine, spirits and other bottles! There will soon be a new menu offering a range of simple pub food to eat in or take away.
